I would like to nominate Fausto as he has taken on a lot of extra responsibility, especially in Delbert’s absence, and has done an extremely good job. He now attends our functions meetings and ensures that everything gets followed up. I would like to nominate Mayra Sarango who cleans our overnight accommodation. Since Mayra took on this role, we have not had any issues with communication or the level of cleaning. She is always smiley and very helpful.

We had our annual Mais Lecture at the Bayes Business School yesterday given by the Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves and have received excellent feedback on the cleaning led by Fernanda. Other particular mentions are for: Virginio, Maria, Jaime and Celestina. It would be great if they could be recognised. Fernanda has been exceptional since she has been covering at Bayes.

Please can I give a shout out to all of our cleaning staff for their amazing efforts this term. We are very grateful to have these cleaners in our school because without them it just would not be the same.

No doubt the biggest shoutout would go to Maribel, our daily star. She always smiles, works hard, and everyone here loves her. There has not been a single issue when she is on duty.

I’d like to praise the team that look after our site – namely Francesca, João, and Ana (area supervisor) for all their hard work and effort looking after our facility. They are conscientious, loyal, eager to be of assistance and very good cleaners – we are often complimented on the standards of cleanliness and how the building is kept in good condition - a mixture of maintenance and a good cleaning regime. It’s hard to single one out as they work as such a well-integrated team.

Our cleaning team are a great bunch. They work in an organised and efficient manner. They listen to staff feedback and carry out any remedial actions. They always work with a smile on their faces and go the extra mile whenever required to do so.
