JR & Co-Stars
JR & Co-Stars is our staff awards programme designed so our customers can nominate our employees for special recognition when they deliver outstanding service, either as an individual or as a team. It’s a popular programme that actively encourages all of our staff to go above and beyond in their pursuit of first-class customer service. If you feel you’ve received excellent service from our staff, why not nominate a person or a team?
The University College of Osteopathy, client since 2013
I would very much like to nominate Maria Da Costa who works in both our University and Clinical buildings. She hasn't just gone 'above and beyond' recently, she does this consistently. Maria is hard working and conscientious and also has a fantastic attitude. Her standard of cleaning is very high (I would not allow her to see my house!) and she is well liked and respected by all staff here. She is always smiling and happy to help out with things which, really, she shouldn't have to do. For example some of our staff, rather rudely, leave dirty cups and plates in the sink (despite instructions to clean up after themselves) but Maria gets stuck in, leaving the kitchen immaculate. Maria is a fantastic member of staff and we feel very lucky to have her. Many thanks and again and well done on hitting 25 years.
Delbert & Team
The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple
I would particularly like to highlight Delbert Brooks who heads the lift and shift team here at the Inner Temple. He and the whole team have been enormously supportive and helpful whilst we have been decanting from the Treasury Building over the past 4 weeks. Delbert and his team are always consistently helpful but they have really worked super hard during the decant. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him and his team.
The Supreme Court , client since 2013
The team have been nominated, because of the efficient manner in which they ensure that the building is kept very clean and pristine, as well as their attention to detail.
Educational client since 2017
We would like to nominate Rose Murphy for a JR&Co Stars award, she has been with us for several years, even before we brought Julius Rutherfoord on board. She is a really hard worker, and has been very dependable, never missing a day, and doing additional work when her colleagues do not turn up for work! Also, there is never a complaint from any of the staff about her cleaning. We have already spoke to our Account Manager & Senior Operations Manager, about recognising & rewarding Rose's hard work and loyalty. Rose has been fantastic.
The Salvation Army International Trustee Co, client since 2014
The JR team that cleans the facility at 101 Queen Victoria does an incredible constant job at keeping the building looking clean and fresh at all times. There is rarely, if ever, anything out of place or a need to call anyone to ensure something be done. Staff and visitors alike consistently comment on how good the building looks.
Educational client since 2009
Halimo has been a consistently outstanding cleaner at our school who is always reliable, meticulous and clearly takes enormous pride in providing a great service. We feel very lucky to have her and she sets a great example to others.
Educational client since 2015
Works hard cleaning the admin area and even washes up the the cups and plates left in the sink.
Portland Place School, client since 2013
I never receive any complaints from School staff about area's of the school not cleaned, the team work really hard to maintain good standards and are always available to help for the good of the School, and are always polite and friendly. Thank You!
Salvation Army, client since 2014
Our cleaning team are the best and their standards are so high. They always go above and beyond all their duties. The response from every conference and every event here always says our cleaning team are excellent.
St Teresa's RC Primary School, client since 2009
I could easily have selected any core value - in fact she equally deserves nominations against any of our school core values of Love, Trust, Teamwork and Ambition. We love our cleaning team here and that is why we make it a priority to find the cash to pay the front line staff at the London Living Wage even this year when we are running a £23,000 deficit budget. Sue is a magnificent leader who keeps in touch making sure that we have termly meetings at least to ensure that little opportunities for improvement are spotted early and standards driven up. She regularly surprises me by her school view and being able to make helpful suggestions and improvements in non-core areas. I am aware that she has had a tough time recently but one would never know from her constant professional leadership.
