I would like to take this opportunity to call out the hard work of Nilson over the past 11 months. He has been a consistent performer and a reliable member of the evening cleaning team, his work on the weekends following maintenance works has also been of a high standard and it would be great to see him receive recognition for his efforts.

I have been in post for the last year at Portland Place School, John is considered a valued member of the team here, not only in terms of going beyond the call of duty, but I've never met such a hard working individual, who organises his team well and is much respected by his team, his style of management and work ethics filters down to his team, which is a plus for Julius Rutherford. John always has a can do attitude and any ad-Hoc request.

I wanted to provide some feedback on the cleaning team. I can honestly say in over 30 years of working I have never worked in an environment that is as consistently clean as it is in the ICR. We are based in the Male Urological Building (2nd Floor) which is spotless but this continues throughout all of the buildings at the ICR. The team are always so friendly and continuously working from early in the morning to late at night. First impressions are so important and we have guests coming from all over the world to visit our premises so the dedication and hard work from the team allows us to show off our facilities in a positive way. Please pass on our sincere thanks to all of the team and let them know we are always so very grateful for the important job they do.

Victor has always given support and advice to all the supervisors and managers. Victor trains and gives support to all members of staff. He comes and sorts problems and gives support to Omar and trains him as well. Since Victor took over after Michael left; the staff are much happier. He knows and has the experience to sort problems and keep staff and customer happy. During half terms he sits down with me and plans what I need to be done. Victor in my opinion is a jewel in Julius Rutherford's team. He is very passionate and very meticulous in what he does. His expertise and experience excel all the time. He is never in a hurry and will not leave till I am happy when any problems arise. He believes in giving personal service. I would like to nominate him for awards. I think it is well overdue.

Jesus is very polite and always goes beyond what is expected of him. He is covering for Omar at present which is very busy period for us. Lot of different events are going on 2/3 times a week. He has done everything extremely well. In the last two days we have had over 800 students come to our 6th Form. I walked around and showed him what I wanted done. I had given him enough notice. everybody that walked through 6th Form complemented the standard of cleanliness. We had couple of accidents and he immediately shampooed the areas. He definitely needs to be recognised for his personal service. He is very meticulous too - he is very good.

I would like to put on record my appreciation for the effort put in by the Supervisor (Ivonne). Not only did she bring all the hoover heads to a designated room, but also she unravelled all the leads for me to inspect as well, and made sure the rest of the cleaning team were continuing to work as the heads became available. All with a bit smile to boot! When she had to leave, her replacement (a young lady) then continued to fetch other machines for the PAT testing, which enabled me to finish and move on to the next job more quickly. Again, my appreciation for excellent help.
