Unsung heroes recognised

The Institute of Cancer Research is one of the many spaces across London Julius Rutherfoord & Co have kept safe and secure in recent months. We have cleaned their offices and laboratories in Fulham and Sutton since 1994 and are delighted that they are still as happy as ever with our cleaners.

They have remained open throughout the COVID-19 Crisis, researching a cure for cancer and providing vital research data on the virus itself.

Our cleaning team have also continued to work, keeping the Institute meticulously clean and helping to implement social distancing measures.

This week we were delighted to receive an email  on behalf of everyone at the ICR praising our teams:

“Thank you for your fantastic work on site to keep our buildings and research facilities going. You have been working in very difficult circumstances, and with an element of personal risk, and we are hugely grateful for that. I have heard many words of thanks and praise from across the organisation for the work you have been doing. It has really helped to drive home the sense of us all as One ICR – and underlined that making the discoveries that defeat cancer is very much a team effort.”
