Important the UK keeps moving - Health Secretary
Asked what people should do if their jobs do not allow them to work from home, Health Secretary Matt Hancock gives this advice:
"If you are healthy and not being asked to isolate because someone in your household has symptoms then of course you should still go to work.”
"It is important that this country keeps moving as much as we possibly can, within the limits of the advice we have been given."
JR&Co Advice as at 19:00 Monday 16th March is:
- Avoid all social contact with others, including pubs, clubs, restaurants and cinemas
- If you or any member of a household develops symptoms (defined as a high temperature or a new, continuous cough), the current advice is that all members of the household should self-isolate for 14 days.
- Otherwise attend work as normal, (unless you have been told otherwise), make sure you Clock In and Clock Out so we can pay you correctly
If you are not attending work for any reason inform your manager and contact email@example.com for details on your pay
