    During the pandemic. The cleaning team and management team stepped up to the mark and helped us put in place Covid cleaning services, sourced hand sanitising units & Clorox machines, and kept our buildings clean and our people safe with their continuous cleaning regime. They went above and beyond their daily duties especially Carl & Juan (site managers) who assisted with printing, laminating & putting Covid signage in all communal areas. They helped with moving furniture during the first lockdown. They helped us set up the Covid testing areas and recently organised portering services to get our buildings back to normality. Always, nothing is too much trouble for them and their support to ICR was commendable. They enable our people to find a 'cure for cancer' by keeping our buildings clean, safe and a pleasant place to work.

    They are a stupendous professional team and a credit to both our organisations and we thank them for their continued support.

    May I also mention a thank you to Mike & Walter for their full support & hard work done in the background and their continued support & encouragement to the teams on the ground.
     
    Last but not least; Thank you to Andy for our regular catch-ups to ensure the services were being delivered to an excellent standard.

    The whole team has been really great, It is hard to single anyone out, but Mr Nilton and Mr Joseph are the people I can always rely on. Please note that I have very little contact with the early morning team, led by Mr Carl, so please pass my thanks to them too. It has been a challenging time for all of our cleaners, in light of the pandemic, and the ongoing contract transfer. So big thanks to the whole team, and everyone at JR's office for everything that you are doing for every member of Thomas's Battersea. Also, this is a great way to celebrate and to recognise the hard work of the cleaners. I will most definitely pass this idea to our Heads.

    I have nominated Gladys as she has been a consistent member of the staff. She is always cheerful and friendly to all the school staff. She is always willing to take on any suggestions and action them. She has worked with us during the lockdown and kept up with the cleaning standards (although this was with her previous employer).
    She is always quick to point out to other cleaning staff if they have left hoovers in places that may cause a trip hazard so is very aware of health and safety.
    Gladys has had a number of staff changes from the normal team here at Hatfield and she has been very adapting and kept the continuity for the school.

    Please pass on my feedback to our wonderful cleaner Julissa. She is an absolute joy to work with, she does a fantastic job keeping the scheme clean and tidy and always has a smile on her face. She recently suffered a nasty injury to her arm, despite this she continued to come to work and deliver the same standard of service.
    We are very thankful for her hard work and commitment, she is a much-valued member of the team.
